Painted wet on wet, alla prima, attention was given to creating this painted sketch with confident expressive strokes, to portray the feel of the figures gesture.. Very much as one would create a gesture drawing. This method of working requires a great deal of deep mental focus at every moment of creation, and I love the lively expressive results when working this way!..
