A gestural study from one of my portrait drawing practice sessions.. Quick gesture drawings like this are the result of over 15 years of dedicated deliberate practice, thousands and thousands of hours to gain the ability to skillfully draw the figure (if I'm lucky) with quick gestural strokes.
