Decided to try out something different this time with one of my figure gesture studies.. This piece pretty much evolved organically with the different media added according to what was called out for as the piece progressed!

The astronomical clock in Prague is the 3rd oldest clock in the world and the oldest running and its intricate design and craftsmanship is really a sight to behold. This watercolour was painted from an image my mum took on a trip there a few years back. I instantly fell in love with the image of this beautiful medieval wonder and knew I had to paint it. Hi there, I went a digging today among some of my old travel pics and found one I took of this world heritage treasure.. Like many, Egyptology has always intrigued me and painting the beauty of these historic monuments is completely captivating..
