​A mix of abstract elements with realism has always been a fav of mine, and in these pieces I got to explore the spontaneity of the expressive wilful nature of waterbased fluid paint, mixed with the more deliberate nature of painting in oil paint..

Due to the nature of each medium, It's sometimes difficult to combine a mix of water and oil based media while maintaining their individual strengths and optimal methods of application in beauty as well as in archival longevity..

The results in this experiment have pleased me greatly with many a lesson learnt that I will definitely be drawing from for future works..
