Ahh.. I forgot to varnish the portrait I did on day 3 so I decided to post this one first!.. This piece is about twice the size of the previous works and was painted using a zorn palette.. If you are not familiar with this uber limited palette, it's one that consists of just 4 'hues' - Titanium White, Ivory Black, Yellow Ocher and a red. I used Cadmium Red. Ref Photo Credit : Alev Takil on Unsplash This was just the perfect image for the muted tones of a zorn palette, and the subjects smoldering 'f*' all stare to the viewer.
