A little painted sketch that relies heavily on the hue of the toned ground to give a translucent wholeness to the models skin. Painted with a very limited palette of Flake White Hue, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna and Cad Orange, one can see why the cool tones supplied by the toned ground would be ideal for a quick painted sketch like this.
